The Kneerider Knews Journal (KKJ) is a regularly published news letter containing stories, photo's, monthly gathering calendar and other items of interest. While the intent is to publish on a monthly basis, content will drive the regularity (and if the editor isn't surfing too much!)
The links below reference the KKJ in .pdf format. This format was chosen as a means to bridge the gap between a costly print version and straight html. Additionally, .pdf is platform independent which means create it once and post the document for reading with Adobe Acrobat Reader (free download).

Events
The focus of the US kneerider gatherings have resulted in a years worth of monthly get togethers and even a couple of contests. We have a number of very exciting events on the calendar through the first quarter of 2003. A full listing of events for 2003 will be posted soon. Here is what we have on tap through our fall and winter months:
November 29 - Dec 1 Ocean Beach, SF Contact: Don Harris or Bob Schiff
Attendance for this event was good! Tom Linn, Mark Robertson, Albert Munoz, Robert O'toole, Syd Temple, Scott Wessling, Jeff Martinez and a few others caught Ocean Beach with well overhead surf rideable all day. Pictures and videos will be posted soon.

Bob hosted the Surfer Bowl last year and may have an opportunity to do so again, or we may find ourselves organizing a contest for kneeriders only!
This event is BIG. What started as a 2 week event is now stretching into March! Below is the update from Bud as of 11/18/02:
This is an updated list of the kneeboard surfers planning to make the NS gathering 2003. There is (1) 2 week slot and (2) 1 week slots open in the main house for March 1rst-the 8th. They must be filled with a 1 or 2 week stay. No partial week stays will be accepted.
